To be more transparent on what data is coming in and out and what updates are happening on the site, the following is a list of what's been going on:
- 1/11/2013 3:37am - Added Per Capita reports for crimes, murders, and robberies for the USA as well as each state. For Illinois, I am missing population data from 1993+, so the Per Capita reports for Illinois will not be available until that data is entered.
- 1/10/2013 4:22am - Added "Possibly Incomplete" data to data tables. If "Yes" is the value for a particular record, then it's possibly that the data is limited in some fashion. Please see the accompanying source link for more information.
- 1/8/2012 2:56am - Made the source an actual link with text of "Source Link" to shorten overall content of table. Created database views to combine crime, murder, assault, and robbery rates with population data to get per capita data. Created first reports (assault by country and state) that use per capita data (based on 100,000 people). Pending: murder, crime, and robbery.
- 1/7/2013 11:53pm - Disclaimer, Updates, and About pages added as well as AddThis social networking control added to each report as well as the header. Furthermore some styling updates were made.
